Senior Security & Fire Systems Engineer

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday

Work Location: Remote but ideally based in or around Greater Manchester

We are looking for the right candidate to join our team as a qualified Senior Security & Fire Systems Engineer. This role will be classed as remote however you will be ideally based in or around Greater Manchester. There will be a certain amount of travel required across England so a central base is ideal.

As a Senior Security & Fire Systems Engineer you will be experienced in the installation and maintenance of CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control and Fire Alarm systems. You will provide a professional and dependable quality of service to our commercial customers nationwide.

Job Description


  • Installation of new Security systems to meet SSAIB Standards, and Fire systems to meet BAFE standards.
  • Ensure the health, safety & welfare of themselves and their team in accordance with company policy.
  • Carry out servicing & repairs on various security systems covering commercial & residential premises, including tracing & resolution of faults.
  • Assisting customers on security issues, equipment use etc. both face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork & reports in a timely manner.
  • Attend various sites as and when required with a view to providing quotes to potential customers.



The ideal candidate will have experience working with:

  • CCTV – Hikvision & Dahua
  • Intruder Alarms - Pyronix, Galaxy, Scantronic, Risco & Texecom
  • Access Control - Paxton Net2 & Switch 2, Intercoms
  • Fire Alarm systems - Apollo, Hochiki, Advanced, Kentec & C-Tec

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Good calculation, and literacy skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A flexible attitude & can-do approach.
  • Confidence, be approachable and conduct themselves in a professional manner.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team but also be confident working independently.
  • Good time management, the ability to manage own workload and work to deadlines.
  • IT/Computing skills/knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to complete installations throughout the UK.
  • Available to be part of an "on-call" rota.

You will need to hold a full UK driving license - a company vehicle will be provided for business use.

Business Development Representative

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday

Work Location: Office Based, Connah's Quay, Flintshire, CH5

We are looking to recruit a full time Business Development Representative who will be based in our office in Connah's Quay. This is a key role within our sales team. A strong background in sales and customer service is an essential requirement for this position. Previous experience in the Fire and Security Systems industry is helpful. You will need to have a minimum of 2 years in a similar sales role.

You will be reliable and need to demonstrate your enthusiasm, self-motivation, and communication skills within the sales environment. You will need to have the ability to work to targets, commission will be paid based on you achieving a set target each month. The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team is crucial to this role.

Duties to include but not limited to:

  • Finding new sales leads through cold calling, networking, and social media.
  • Contacting existing and new customers to create new leads.
  • Communicate with customers before and after sales.
  • Visiting residential and commercial sites to create leads and provide quotes.
  • Prepare quotes and walk the customer through the process.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's products and services.
  • Exceed monthly sales targets.

  • Knowledge of the Fire and Security Systems Industry.
